School & Eco-Councils

At St Patrick's, we are proud to have a School Council and an Eco-Council as they represent the views and opinions of the most important people in the school: our children.

Our elections took place last week and we were thrilled with the number of children in KS2 who wanted to be a potential member of both councils. They had all worked hard to prepare a manifesto outlining their vision and suitability for the role and then presented this through a short speech to their peers. Years 3 and 4 held their elections in class and pupils in Years 5 and 6 presented their manifestos to all KS2 classes.

On Friday 8th October 2021, pupils took part in a democratic vote and two representatives for each council were elected from each class. The results were announced at the House Point Assembly on Monday 11th October.

Congratulations to our new School Council and Eco-Council Representatives and well done to everyone who took part.
