Spring Term.

It is lovely to have the children back in school for the final part of the Spring term.  PE will now be a Wednesday and as before children need to come to school wearing their PE kit.

We are looking forward to settling the children back into school and carrying on with our London topic work the children have started in lockdown.

Two reading books will be sent home on a Monday. It will then be collected in again on a Thursday. These books will then be quarantined for 72 hours. Another reading book will then be sent again the following Monday. Due to the current situation reading records will only be used for home. These can be brought into school on a Monday and a Thursday to communicate any messages or concerns about your child's reading. Children will have a separate book to read with in school. Online books are also available for children to read via Oxford Owl. On here you will find a range of different books. Please read the same colour coded book as the book your child has been sent home with.

Welcome to Year 2B!

It has been a pleasure having the children back in school.  They have settled well into Year 2 and are becoming more familiar with the change in routines.  Our first few weeks are focussed on ensuring the children are happy, safe and ready to learn.  We are looking forward to a busy and happy year.

Our first topic in the Spring Term is The Great Fire of London.
