Welcome to Year 2G!   

All the children in 2G are enjoying their final term in the Infants.

Our new topic for the Summer term will be all about 'The Rainforest and Florence Nightingale'. If you have any books, pictures or objects related to this topic we would love to see them and will take great care of anything brought into school. 

Reading Books

Please try and read with your child as often as possible. Lots of children are excited about our Reading Challenge and are looking forward to seeing stickers on their chart when they have read all their books each week. Books will be changed once a week if a child's Reading Record has been signed.

Homework

Homework will be sent out on a Monday to be collected the following week. Your child will be given one piece of Maths or English and six weekly spellings. The spellings will be tested every Monday morning and new ones will be sent home that day.

PE

We have PE on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please make sure that your child has their kit in school on these days. 

Snack

If your child is taking part in the  Healthy Snack scheme please make sure that you send in their money every Monday or at the beginning of each half term.
