Hello and welcome to the home page for year 3B
We have already been very busy this year learning all about the Ancient Egyptians. We have learnt all about the Pharaohs, the Pyramids and looked at a variety of different artefact's.
The most exciting part of our topic was visiting the Manchester University Museum and becoming archaeologists for the day.
We learnt all about Brazil and the Amazon Rainforest. During our topic we explored the climate and culture of Brazil as well as exploring the amazing wildlife of the Amazon Rainforest. We created a wonderful variety of art work including animal prints and Amazonian style clay pots. Our favourite part of the topic was learning about the Mardi Gras celebrations that take place in Brazil each year. Have a look at our photographs to see our wonderful masks.
With the excitement of London 2012 fast approaching we are currently learning all about the Olympic Games past and present.
