The Boy at the Back of the Class

We have just started our journey through this fabulous book. The children made some fantastic predictions about the character, Ahmet. They were surprised to find out that Ahmet is a Refugee. There have been lots of open-ended discussions about refugees and how Ahmet's character will unfold throughout the text. 

Spending time reading the book each day is such a wonderful opportunity and one that I really cherish.
