Swimming
At St Patrick's Catholic Primary School we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all children in KS2. Priority is given to increasing water confidence and ensuring that all children are given every opportunity to learn to swim.
Swimming takes place for all children at Swims'cool' in Marshside. It is timetabled throughout the academic year for children in Key Stage 2. All children have the opportunity to swim from Year 3 to Year 6 whilst at school.
Swimming lessons take place each week on Thursday mornings and last 40 minutes. Each swimming block this academic year is a total of 9 weeks for each year group.
