The school councillors from Years 5&6 had an exciting day at the Marine Lake Events Centre last week, taking part in some activities linked to its regeneration. Children from different schools in Southport were involved in designing some of the hoardings that surround the Centre. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were terrific ambassadors for school.
Children have enjoyed lots of different activities this week as we have celebrated Anti-Bullying Week. The theme for Anti-Bullying Week this year is 'Make A Noise About Bullying' and children shared their learning and some key messages in assemblies this morning. It was wonderful to see what each class have been doing and children presented their work brilliantly. Well done children!
We celebrated All Saints' Day yesterday by going to Church and spending time with Fr John. Children in Key Stage 2 had a Mass in the morning and children in Key Stage 1 had a lovely reflection in the afternoon. Children and staff enjoyed
these special experiences. Thank you to Fr John for creating these opportunities for us.
