SVP

On Friday 10th December, pupils and staff wore Christmas jumpers and accessories and together, we raised a tremendous £270 for the SVP.

 

Members of the SVP visited school on Monday 13th and the School Councillors presented them with beautiful Christmas cards for those living on their own. We also purchased Christmas gifts for those who would otherwise receive very little.

The members were overjoyed to also receive a cheque for £150 which they will send to one of their twinned conferences in India to buy two goats to support families in need.

 

Giving as well as receiving at this time of year is so rewarding and is an integral part of our Mission Statement as we ‘serve, love and learn together’
