First Holy Communion Celebrations 2019
Last weekend our Year 4 children began their First Holy Communion celebrations.
On Sunday, 5th May 14 children celebrated their First Holy Communion at St.Patrick's whilst 8 children made theirs at St. Marie's.
Fr.John celebrated both masses and the children were joined by their families, catechists, teachers and parishioners who all helped to make the occasions truly special. The children read beautifully and sang their hearts out, smartly dressed in their communion clothes, even the weather was kind!
There will also be First Holy Communion celebrations on:
Sunday 12th May at St.Maries and St.Patrick's and on
Sunday 19th May at St.Patrick's.
These are very special occasions for our children and their families and we ask for God's blessing on them all.
