  • Earth Day

    Thu 25 Apr 2024

We celebrated Earth Day on Monday and discussed how we can look after our wonderful world. The theme of this year's Earth Day was Planet vs Plastics, highlighting the need to phase out the use of single use plastics to protect our planet.

Following our assemblies, children have been exploring different ways in which we can look after our planet and have shared their ideas with our Eco-Council.

  • Mini Marathon Week

    Wed 24 Apr 2024

Children had a very active start to the term last week with all classes completing a mini marathon. Each class ran 2.6 miles around the school grounds and did a fantastic job.

A group of children from Years 5&6 joined other schools across Sefton by participating in a marathon relay, passing on bleed control kits from school to school. Well done to the children involved and thank you to Mrs Grant, Mr Holmes, Mr Jacques and Neil who ran with our children.

Many thanks to everyone who sponsored their child or made a donation for this worthy cause. As we work together to keep our community safe, these kits can save lives in the event of anyone needing medical assistance.
