Mrs. Kearney and Mrs. Williamson run a gardening club for the Reception Children each Tuesday lunch-time. Groups of us spend half an hour each week, weeding, planting and tidying our Reception outdoor Area. We are preparing a Patrick's Potato Patch at the moment and hope to make our own potato snack from our labours towards the end of the summer term. We intend paying a visit to the local garden centre and learn how to prepare our own compost bin.Then we will look to growing herbs, tomatoes and lots of fruit and vegetables.
Our wild garden will become a butterfly haven (hopefully)and we look forward to observing the wild life that it may attract.
