St. Patrick's Swimming Gala Team 2013-2014
Congratulations to our talented swimming team on their success at the Southport Schools Swimming Association Gala!
On Tuesday evening, 26th March, a team of talented swimmers from Years 5 and 6 entered the intermediate local schools swimming gala. This competition is always competitive with a very high standard on display each year.
Our boys worked tremendously hard during the evening and came 1st in their competition. The boys relay was fascinating to watch as the boys pulled it out of the bag to finish 8 seconds ahead of the other competitors.
The girls team also worked very hard and they were delighted with their result as this allowed St. Patrick’s to finish 3rd overall in the competition.
We are very proud of our fantastic swimmers and they were a credit to the school both in the pool and at the poolside.
