Tag Rugby Competition
Children in Years 5&6 have been participating in Tag Rugby sessions after school. Pupils from KGV who are completing their B TEC course have been providing coaching on Tuesday night and the club has been very successful with 20 children taking part.
The children were invited to compete at Southport Rugby Club with a number of local schools participating. St. Patricks entered two teams into the competition and they both did exceptionally well considering they had only had two training sesssions before the competition.
Both the A and B team came second in their groups and came 5th and 6th overall in the competition out of 18 schools.
The children had a fantastic time competing and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon.
