  • Anglo-Saxon Day - Year 5

    Fri 21 Oct 2022

Year 5 have enjoyed an Anglo-Saxon Day in school today. They started the morning with an interactive Anglo-Saxon experience and have had a very creative time. Staff and children dressed up as Anglo-Saxons and looked fantastic. Children have been making clay shields and baking authentic Anglo-Saxon biscuits before finishing the day with a Tug of War. What a fantastic way to end the half term!

  • CAFOD Harvest Fast Day

    Fri 14 Oct 2022

Friday 7th October was CAFOD Harvest Fast Day and children explored different resources from CAFOD to learn more about this. Climate change, coronavirus and conflict in Ukraine mean food prices are skyrocketing, creating a global food crisis for many people, including here in the UK. We are keen to support CAFOD’s mission to help those who are struggling around the world, whilst also recognising that many people within our school community will be finding it difficult to make ends meet.

  • Hello Yellow!

    Mon 10 Oct 2022

We have had an exciting day in school today celebrating World Mental Health Day. School was very colourful with children wearing splashes of yellow with their school uniforms in support of Hello Yellow (Young Minds).

Children spent the day exploring different activities linked to their physical and mental health and it has been a great start to the week. Photographs from the day will be uploaded over the next few days.
