Come and See
Our ‘Come and See’ this term started off with a topic about Energy. We learnt about the energy in fire and wind and related this to the story of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to disciples in the form of tongues of fire and a rushing wind. We also learnt about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how we can use them to lead better lives. We were proud to present our class assembly on this topic to the school and our parents.
The next topic was about choices and was all about knowing when we have made good or poor choices. We learnt that if we say sorry God will always forgive us. We also learnt that the Church helps us to do this in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Our final topic of the year is ‘Special Places’ We will learn about the places that are special to us, our world neighbours and those which were special to Jesus.
