  • 'Eggstraordinary' History Competition

    Mrs Molyneux was absolutely delighted with the response to the 'Eggstraordinary' History Competition. There were a staggering 120 entries! The quality of everyone’s entries was tremendous, a real testament to children’s creativity as well as their knowledge of key historical people. Well done to everyone who took part. 

  • Uniform Sale

    Councillors from the School and Eco-Councils did a great job with the Uniform Sale, yesterday. They helped Mrs Williams to organise the clothes that had been donated and several members helped out at the sale too. Thank you children! 

  • World Maths Day

    We celebrated World Maths Day in school on Friday and children explored a range of activities. Each class thought very carefully about how different mathematical activities are used within our everyday lives. It was great to see children embrace a range of tasks with great enthusiasm. Well done children! 

  • Easter Resurrection Gardens

    Over the last two weeks Clive has been working with children in Year 4 to create two 'Resurrection Gardens.' These will be placed in the Churches of St Patrick's and St Marie's over the Easter period. Working together to assemble the gardens has been a terrific opportunity for our children as we approach Holy Week followed by Easter Sunday. Thank you, Clive, for giving your time so generously to work with Year 4. 

  • Theatre Production - The Railway Children

    Children had a special treat on Tuesday afternoon when M&M Theatrical Productions came to school. The cast delivered a tremendous performance of 'The Railway Children' which children from all classes thoroughly enjoyed. 

  • St Patrick's Day Celebrations

    We celebrated St Patrick's Day in school today, starting with a Mass this morning with Fr John. Children from Years 2-6 attended Mass and it was a very special occasion for all involved. Children enjoyed a range of activities throughout the day and it was a lovely way to end a busy week. 

     

     

  • World Book Day

    A great day was had by all today as we celebrated World Book Day. School was filled with children and staff either wearing costumes of their favourite characters or pyjamas with their favourite bedtime stories. Everyone looked amazing!

    Children thoroughly enjoyed a range of activities to celebrate the joys of reading and the wonders of a good book.
