The children have settled very well since coming back after the holidays and are already working hard and are enjoying our new topics.
If you or your child have any concerns about school please don't hesitate to come in and see us or arrange an appointment. This is an exciting time of year and we want all children to enjoy the school day and thrive as they prepare to leave the infants.
Our new topic is all about India. If you have any books, pictures, objects or experiences related to this exciting topic we would love to see them and will take great care of anything brought into school.
Please try and read with your child as often as possible. Books will be changed once a week if a child's Reading Record has been signed.
We have PE on Thursdays and Fridays. Please make sure that your child has their kit in school on these days.
We will be sending spellings home on Mondays for the children to learn each week. Please help them to write sentences using given words. This is a great way to help your child develop more confidence for independent writing. It is also a good way to prepare them for the homework they will receive in KS2.
Our Healthy Snack scheme is working well. If your child is taking part in the scheme please make sure that you send in their money every Monday or at the beginning of each half term.
