  • Serving our Community - Fundraising

    Wed 06 Apr 2022

Thank you to parents and children who have been so generous in donating funds to support different causes, this term. It is wonderful that we have been able to send money to Ukraine and to support the work of CAFOD, as well as providing much needed food items to people in the local community through the SVP.

This morning, some of our School Councillors from Years 5&6 took food to Church to be distributed locally over the coming weeks.

A special mention also to Poppy M and Leah J from 6Mc who have been very busy making and selling friendship bracelets and have raised £97. The girls wanted to raise money for charities supported by school and the RSPCA. Well done girls - we are so proud of you!

  • No Outsiders

    Fri 01 Apr 2022

Our school family is very special because everyone in it is welcomed and included. We celebrate our differences and embrace the characteristics that make us unique. We recognise that we should treat each other with love and respect, just as Jesus taught us to, and we are working hard to do this.

This morning, we gathered in phases to share our work linked to the theme, ‘No Outsiders’. ‘No Outsiders’ is based on the principal that our society should be inclusive, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation.

Each year group shared important messages about equality, based on a selection of picture books that they have been exploring. Some of the themes included: different types of families and relationships, being proud of who we are and having the freedom to be able to make our own choices and opinions.

Our children are such a credit to their generation as they presented these important messages wonderfully this morning. Well done children!
