States of Matter
In Autumn 1 we have been learning about states of matter and changes in states of matter. We have considered how everything is made of particles and how these particles behave differently in different states of matter. We have learned about how states of matter change and this has led onto the study of the water cycle.
Perhaps our favourite lesson was when we made solid butter from cream, using just a plastic bag and our strength!
Sound
In Spring 1 we are learning about sound, including how it travels and what pitch and volume are. We are carrying out lots of experiments to find out more.
